In Silver Mountains (2020) an abstract, pastel-colored landscape painting opens up in which five silver pyramids stand in front of a red sun. The sun and the pyramids can be read as symbols of perseverance and persistence. The ancient buildings have largely survived any crisis since ancient times, while global corporations have become less and less stable over time. The title of the work Silver Mountains refers not only to the silver pyramids, but also to the naming of financial service providers such as Black Rock or Bridgewater. In addition, a dubious company called the Silver Mountain Group offers due diligence for hedge fund investors.
