Why Collect24 exists
Collect24 is permanent artwork identity and registry infrastructure. It is not a gallery management system, not an online gallery, and not a marketplace: sales stay with the gallery or the owner.
A large amount of important art is invisible because it sits in private collections. Collect24 makes those artworks discoverable while protecting the identity and sensitive information of their owners. Registering a work does not put it on the market: the owner decides whether it is simply registered, open to confidential offers, actively for sale, or kept fully private.
In time, Collect24 will combine artworks held by museums, galleries and private collectors into one searchable record of the world's art.
