Niko Abramidis &NE's Dynamic Vision Equity NFT (2021) is an open edition of NFT's consisting of a video work, a certificate and an RFID chip. Borrowing from the mining of Bitcoins, the video runs a code that visualizes digital transactions and meanders across the screen in the form of a snake. The artist often draws on archaic symbolism and transfers it into his own contemporary aesthetic, borrowing from the branding of emerging global companies. Here, too, Niko Abramidis &NE adopts symbols from ancient oriental cultures, such as Ancient Egypt, in which the serpent is an expression of supreme divine and royal power, and transforms them in the video into a sign of the power and strength of digital renewals. Surrounded by a wave animation, additional pyramids float in space and orbit each other, like planets in space. The pyramid, as a symbol of endurance and permanence, is a recurring motif in Abramidis &NE's work. While global corporations are less enduring over time, pyramids have largely outlasted any crises since ancient times. As in many of the artist's series of works, Dynamic Vision Equity NFT depicts a broad time horizon that connects old and new technologies and, as a commentary, points to the interconnectedness of the old and new economies. The artist further transfers the approach of "future archaeology", in which a futuristic as well as aged aesthetic are combined at the same time, to the authentication of NFT. On the one hand, he verifies his work by means of a certificate printed on paper; on the other hand, he attaches an NFC coin to it, the RFID chip of which establishes the link to the video. In this way, the collector can always carry Dynamic Vision Equity NFT with him as a physical object in the form of the coin, which serves as an analog access to the digital NFT. The video is continuously developed by the artist so that successive versions of the NFT are created.
