Hyttplats, anlagd av finska invandrare. Den äldsta hyttan uppfördes år 1643 och flyttades till denna plats omkring 1700. Dagens anläggning med masugn och rostugn under samma tak stod färdig 1853 och var i drift till 1916. Invid hyttan finns en välbevarad 1800-tals bergsmansgård samt en grupp skogsarbetarbostäder i enhetligt utförande.
