Motivering: Fornlämningsmiljö med hällmålning som speglar fångstkultur och talrikt med boplatser från stenåldern. - Uttryck för riksintresset: Hällmålningen med tydliga bilder av hjort, fiskar och skepp mm är en av de få kända hällmålningarna söder om Dalälven. Målningen finns på en nästan lodrät bergvägg ut mot Tumledalen. I bergskanten mot dalgången finns talrikt med boplatslämningar från stenåldern i karaktäristiska lägen.
