Motivering: Bruksmiljö, järnbruk från 1685 med välbevarad bebyggelse från 1700- och 1800-talets masugnsepok. - Uttryck för riksintresset: Till bruksmiljön hör herrgård med ekonomibyggnader, arbetarbostäder och ett kapell från 1717. Produktionsanläggningarna vid vattendragen norr och söder om bruket utgjordes av kvarnar och smedjor respektive rost- och masugn, som idag står som ruiner.
