Göta kanal (delen i Motala sn). Kanalen grävdes 1810-32. I samband med bygget samt under mitten av 1800-talet planterades träd och buskar längs kanalen. Medvetet utformad bebyggelse av stort kulturhistoriskt intresse vid Motala verkstad och Borensberg. Miljön berör också kommunerna Linköping, Söderköping och Norrköping.
