Motivering: En av landets mest kända brunnsmiljöer och centrum för aristokratiskt sällskapsliv från 1600- till 1800-tal med ännu välbevarad och småskalig bebyggelse enligt ursprunglig byggnadsplan från 1700-talet. - Uttryck för riksintresset: Bland byggnaderna kan nämnas "Stora matsalen", "Biljarden" och kyrkan från 1700-talet samt den nuvarande högbrunnen från 1800-talets början.
