Huset uppfördes 1753 och ligger på Norra Hamngatan, trolig arkitekt var Bengt Wilhelm Carlberg. Här bodde Brigitta Sahlgren, änka efter ryttmästare Jacob Sahlgren. Därefter ärvdes huset av barnbarnen Gustav Adolf Sparre och Jacob Sahlgren. 1969 restaurerades den Sparreska paradvåningen till ursprungligt skick. 1905 köptes huset av Göteborgs stad.
