Gällivares äldsta bevarade byggnad, Gellivare gamla kyrka. Den uppfördes 1747 med syftet att kristna det samiska folket i området, därför kallas den också Lappkyrkan. Ettöreskyrkan är ännu ett namn, som påminner om den fyraårsperiod när alla Sveriges invånare tvingades skänka ett öre per år för att finansiera kyrkan.
