Photograph of two paintings placed side by side, depicting the different Nawabs, or rulers, of Awadh or Oudh. Eight male rulers are depicted as standing in a row on the left side of the image. A ninth ruler, possibly the Nawab Amjad Ali Shah, is enthroned on the right side of the image. Below each ruler is an inscription, possibly identifying their names.
