Tjällstorp, villan ägdes av stadsmäklare Jacob Dahl (1821-1888) och hans makas Ida Spaak (1831-1907) Villan var i hög grad byggd med tanke på dem och deras barn, av vilka tre hunnit komma till världen, då villan påbörjades 1876. Ytterligare fyra föddes t.o.m. året 1885. Villan är på fotot sedd från sydost. Därbakom doktor Ernst Saléns villa, bakom denna salthandlare G.R. Setterbergs villa "Min lilla vrå" och till höger om denna i bakgrunden Davida Karlssons gård. Märk flaggstången intill Dahls villa och dubbla flaggstänger på Saléns, senare ersatta genom att vardera villan fick sin flaggstång…
