Bilden visarv Varvskanalen mot öster, Posthuset i bakgrunden. Bron är den s k Flottbron som byggdes 1883 pch då låg längre mot öster men flyttades till läget på bilden 1902. Bron togs bort 1917 eller 1919. Brons tillkomst orsakade den s k Flottbrostrejken på Kockums varv.
