MARIA TESCH En kvinnlig sekelskiftesfotograf Av de många ateljéfotografer som var verksamma i Linköping kring sekelskiftet var Maria Tesch kanske den mest berömda. Maria Tesch kom till Linköping år 1873, hon var då 23 år gammal. Som 16-åring flyttade hon till Stockholm för att lära sig fotografyrket efter att ha vuxit upp i Eksjö och därefter flyttade hon till Linköping. Maria öppnade en ateljé i närheten av hörnet Drottninggatan-Nygatan och skaffade sig snart ett namn i staden.
