Stovi vilkėdamas civilius rūbus.Buvo Prisikėlimo apygardos Maironio rinktinės Mindaugo tėvūnijos Nemuno būrio partizanas (nuo 1948 m.). Žuvo 1952 m. sausio 23 d. bunkeryje Tendžiogaloje (Dotnuvos raj.), kartu su dar dviem partizanais.
