Germanas ūkininkavo Eleonorave, prie Skirsnemunės. Manytina, kad ši fotonuotrauka daryta tose apylinkėse. Albume, iš kurio paimta ši fotonuotrauka, esanti dedikacija (lenkų kalba) parašyta 1895 m. Ją pasirašo Janas Podbereckis. Albumas Germanui dovanotas už tarnybą Aukštadvaryje. Žinoma, kad A. Germanas buvo grafo Benedikto Jono Tiškevičiaus (1875-1948) ūkvedys Raudondvario dvare.
