Nuotrauka įklijuota dvyliktame fotografijų albumo su užrašu NERINGA lape (nugarinėje pusėje). Albumas rastas gamtininko profesoriaus Tado Ivanausko Obelynės sodyboje. Šią ir kitas nuotraukas į 20 a. pab. datuojamą albumą galėjo įklijuoti Obelynėje gyvenusi, prof. T. Ivanausko atminimą puoselėjusi, jo globotinė – Eleonora Baltuškevičienė.
