Vuonna 1905 yrityksen otti haltuunsa Fridolf Ekberg yhdessä vaimonsa kanssa. Vuosisadan taitteessa osana liiketoimintaa olivat myös viini- ja siirtomaatavarakauppa sekä viinatehdas.
