View of the Shanghai Bund, lined with a number of western-style buildings, as seen from Shanghai's first Public Garden, now Huangpu Park, a fenced green space. A man can be seen standing in the garden. On the center right area of the image is the Jardine, Matheson & Co. building with its portico, partially cropped out of frame. Also visible is the obelisk-shaped memorial dedicated to the Ever Victorious Army.
