Ahaus in vogelvlucht van de voorkant gezien. In het midden de hoofdburcht met daarvoor de voorburcht. Achter de hoofdburcht ligt nog een parkje. In de linkerbovenhoek een wapen met daaronder de tekst "Friedrich Christiaan von Plettenberg". In de rechterbovenhoek de tekst "Studie van Ahaus, zijn plan en aanleg met hulp van gegevens van heden en verleden". Linksonder een afbeelding van Minerva en rechtsonder een afbeelding van Aurora. Beide in witte plaquetten.
