Kopergravure naar tekening van 't Huis Eeze bij Almen, 1743. Gegraveerd door Hendrik Spilman naar een tekening van Jan de Beijer. Samen op één blad met P 00197 't Dorp Almen bij Zutphen. Uit: Het Verheerlykt Nederland. In de jaren 1764-1765 werd huis Medler bij Almen hersteld en vergroot en ook in 1800 werd het aanzienlijk gemoderniseerd. Kort daarna verrees voor het huis het fraaie inrijhek met de vazen en de hondenhokken met leeuwen, alles afkomstig van De Ehze bij Almen, waar de toenmalige eigenaar uitverkoop hield (Bron: Kastelen Gelderland.nl).
