Träsnitt (kabuki-motiv; oban-format) i färger och relieftryck, föreställande en nattlig utomhusscen med tre samuraier. En man håller i en lång textrulle, medan en annan höjer svärdet. Den tredje ligger på marken med den förstes fot på sitt svärd. Fullmånen som lyser döljs delvis av moln och ett streck med gäss drar förbi. I övre vänstra hörnet finns två överlappande kartuscher med typiska kabuki-tecken samt en röd kartusch med tecken.
