A female figure emerges through a rich and expressive painterly surface. Her turquoise hair, bold and almost sculptural, becomes the focal point of the work, while accents of red, deep blue, and green create a vibrant dialogue between strength and softness. The visible brushstrokes bring a sense of spontaneity and texture to the surface. The gestural quality remains intentionally apparent, allowing the movement and emotion behind each layer of color to shine through. With Blue Hair, I explored the expressive power of color and the freedom to suggest rather than define everything. A contemporary work in which the human figure becomes a vehicle for an encounter between texture, movement, and emotion.
