Inspiré par le fameux mythe d'Ophélie, plus précisement par la peinture qu'en a fait John Everett Millais en 1851-52. Ici, une Ophélie moderne est clouée au lit. La lettre d'un amant ouverte est déposée sur son lit, alors qu'elle fixe le vide. La lettre est d'ailleurs une véritable lettre d'amours datant des années 70, trouvée dans les poubelles par hasard.
