Signiert unten rechts °Aug. Croissant°. °Lago Ameno°. Südliche Landschaft mit weinberankter Pergola vor dem Hintergrund eines weitläufigen Gewässers in einer hügeligen Landschaft. Nach der Bezeichnung des Künstlers mag es sich um Lacco Ameno auf der Insel Ischia vor der Bucht von Neapel handeln. Zumal man in der Ferne am rechten Bildrand den Vesuv zu erkennen glaubt. Der genaue Standort des Künstlers bleibt einstweilen aber noch ein Rätsel.
