Johann Michael Seligmann gab in der zweiten Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts die deutschsprachigen Nachstiche aus dem ab 1758 entstandenen Werk Gleanings of Natural History von George Edwards heraus. Das Blatt zeigt einen auf einer Erdscholle sitzenden Makaken, der mit seiner Linken eine Frucht hochhält. Hinter ihm links der Kopf eines weiteren Affen, rechts ein weiteres im Profil auf vier Pfoten.
