Man blickt auf eine Straße, die von beiden Seiten von Häusern flankiert wird. Im Vordergrund rechts erkennt man eine Art Burgruine, dahinter ragt ein Turm weit über die übrigen Häuser hinaus. Die vier Ecken sind mit Erkern versehen. Auf der Straße bewegen sich mehrere Personen. Vor dem Eingang der Ruine steht ein Holzwagen, der anscheinend mit Heu beladen ist. Der Rahmenkarton ist auf der Rückseite handschriftlich mit "Weihnachten 1936" beschriftet.
