Porträt-Lithographie von Theodor Hosemann nach einer Fotografie von Philipp Graff (Erinnerungsalbum "Die Preußische National-Versammlung 1848", Bl. 15) Brustbild frontal, Kopf und Blick im Halbprofil nach rechts. Vollbart. Berends wurde in Kyritz geboren. Auf dem Trägerkarton, unterhalb der aufgeklebten Lithographie, schwarz gedruckt faksimiliert, Autograph und Unterschrift des Porträtierten: "In der Revolution hat das Volk sein unver- / äußerliches Recht der Selbstregierung wieder / an sich genonmmen // Nat. Vers. / Sitzung am 8 Juni 1848. [Gez.] Julius Berends". Provenienz: Altbestand des Archivs.
