Das Bild zeigt die Teilnehmerinnen eines Koch-und Haushaltslehrgangs, der im Winter 1916 in der Gastwirtschaft Rhein-Ahr, heute Hauptstraße 54, durchgeführt wurde. Die Kochschule hat sich hier zum Abschlußfoto im rückseitig gelegenen Hof versammelt. Bei dem Kochlehrgang wurden Sparrezepte vermittelt, mit denen in Zeiten des 1. Weltkrieges eine Familie ernährt werden konnte. Die Teilnehmerinnen am Kochkurs sind namentlich bekannt. waren:
