Lithographie (von Heinrich Wilhelm Teichgräber?), 1838 Niemeyer war Professor der Theologie an der Universität Halle sowie deren Kanzler und Rektor, ferner Direktor der dortigen Franckeschen Stiftungen, ab 1804 Oberkonsistorialrat und Mitglied des Berliner Oberschulkollegiums. Das Blatt stammt aus: Borussia. Museum für Preußische Vaterlandskunde. Bd. I. Dresden: Verlag von Eduard Pietzsch & Comp. (Druck von B. G. Teubner in Dresden), 1838, Lief. 2, Tafel zw. S. 16 und 17. Es handelt sich um die einzige Illustration ("Beilage") zum anonymen Textbeitrag "August Herrmann Niemeyer" (S. 14–16). Provenienz: Erworben 2020 aus dem Dublettenbestand der Stiftung Brandenburg, Fürstenwalde/Spree.
