Die Bild ist von einem 3 mm breiten Rahmen umgeben. Aufgenommen wurde die Fotografie von der Ahrbrücke aus Ahrabwärts. Rechts im Bild das Kurviertel und links die überfluteten Ahrwiesen in Richtung Dorf. Das Wasser der Ahr war so hoch, dass sie etwa bis 30 cm unter der Brücke hindurchfloss.
