View of a large open space in the palatial complex of Fatehpur Sikri, surrounded in the background by buildings with domes and chattris, or decorative domed pavilions, of various sizes. The Jama Masjid, with its monumental archway and multiple chattris or decorative domed pavilions, is visible on the center left area of the image, while the marble tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti, a smaller pavilion with a dome and a single entryway, is visible in the center. Also visible are a number of people in traditional garments engaged in various activities.
