Die Lithografie von Caspar Obach zeigt eine Ansicht des Kursaals in Cannstatt. Das von Nikolaus von Thouret entworfene Gebäude wird mit etwas Abstand schräg von rechts vorne geschildert. Zu beiden Seiten wird es von zwei kleineren, identisch gestalteten Bauten flankiert. Hinter dem Komplex erhebt sich der von Bäumen bewachsene Sulzerrain. Auf den Wegen der Anlage sind mehrere Staffagefiguren dargestellt.
