Der Kupferstich zeigt eine Ansicht der alten Ölmühle, die auf dem heutigen Gelände des Kursaals in Bad Cannstatt stand. Rechts dahinter ist die gefasste Mineralquelle zu sehen, die in den 1810er-Jahren zunächst als offener Pavillon gestaltet war und dann zum essenziellen Bestandteil des Kursaalgebäudes wurde.
