Der Münzmeister ist der Bruder des Consuls von 42 v. Chr., L. Munatius Plancus, und war 43 v. Chr. Praetor. Die Rs.-Darstellung kopiert möglicherweise ein Gemälde des Nikomachos, das im Besitz der Familie war und beim Triumph des L. Munatius Plancus 43 v. Chr. mitgeführt und dem Staat dediziert wurde (Plinius, nat. hist. 35, 108). Vorderseite: Kopf der Medusa in der Vorderansicht, r. und l. unter dem Haar eine Schlange. Rückseite: Victoria fliegt nach r. Sie hält in der l. Hand einen Palmzweig, mit der r. Hand führt sie vier Pferde, von denen sich zwei aufbäumen.
