A large multi-story pier extends from center left past center, out of a river. The covered building at center has three large supports based in the river. A track extends from the top story out of frame to the left. A ladder descends from this track to an area concealed by a hill covered in foliage. At the right side of the pier a smaller covered structure extends over an empty barge on the river's surface. The other side of the river is not visible and forested hills extend across the background of the entire image, suggesting a bend in the river. A white covered pier can be seen in the distance just below right center.
