Die Geldscheine des Staates Kroatien ab 1991 sind mit der Währungsbezeichnung 'Dinar' ausgegeben, die ab 1994 durch Geldscheine mit der Währungsbezeichnung 'Kuna' ersetzt wurden. Die Geldscheine wurden in Schweden gedruckt. Der Mathematiker und Physiker Ruger Bošković beschäftigte sich mit dem Studium des Erdkörpers und der Gravitationstheorie von Newton. Die Vorlage für das Porträt dürfte das Gemälde des englischen Malers Robert Edge Pine aus dem Jahre 1760 sein. Die Kathedrale von Zagreb ist das Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Vorderseite: Brustbild von Ruder Bošković im Dreiviertelprofil nach links, geometrische Berechnungen oben rechts. Schräger Überdruck 'SPECIMEN'.
