Votivtafeln wurden als Dank für überstandenes Unheil oder Krankheit angefertigt und in einer Kirche oder Kapelle, in welcher Gott, Maria oder bestimmte Heilige um Beistand und Hilfe angefleht wurden, aufgehängt. Dieses Votivbild zeigt den Stifter mit erhobenen Armen und Peitsche. Auf einer Anhöhe hinter ihm ist die Wurmlinger Kapelle dargestellt, in der das Votivbild ursprünglich aufgehängt war. Darunter liegt ein von zwei Pferden gezogener Transportkarren mit einem verlorenen Rad. Der auf ihm transportierte Sarg ist heruntergefallen. Der Stifter fleht Maria, die über ihm in den Wolken schwebt, um Hilfe an und bittet den Kirchenpatron Remigius, links im Bischofsornat, um seine Fürsprache. Der Künstler ist nicht bekannt. Die Votiftafel wurde 1882 von J. G. Kogg restauriert. Sie wird im Depot aufbewahrt.
