Der Stahlstich zeigt einen Aufriss der Westfassade der Martinskirche in Stuttgart-Möhingen. Im oberen Bereicht wird er links von einem Grundriss der alten Kirche flankiert, die Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts für die Gemeinde zu klein geworden war und durch einen neogotischen Bau des Architekten Christian von Leins ersetzt wurde. Ein Grundriss dieses neuen Baus ist oben rechts in der Grafik wiedergegebn. Die neue Kirche ragte weit über die Dächer der Ortschaft hinaus, weshalb sie den Beinamen "Filderdom" erhielt.
