Die Federzeichnung des Architekten Christian von Leins zeigt den romanischen Vorgängerbau der Martinskirche in Möhringen. Das baufällig gewordene Gebäude wurde 1852 abgebrochen und durch einen größeren neugotischen Bau ersetzt, den Leins entworfen hatte. Die Kirche wird seitlich und schräg von links vorne gesehen ins Bild gesetzt gesehen, so dass die Gliederung des Baus in Turm, Kirchenschiff und Chor gut sichtbar wird.
