Die Lithographie von Eberhard Emminger wurde von Gottfried Küstner gedruckt und in der G. Ebner'schen Kunsthandlung in Stuttgart verlegt. In der Blattmitte ist eine Ansicht von Stuttgart aus Westen gezeigt, die nach einer Zeichnung Friedrich Kellers entstand. Um das Bild sind friesartig 18 kleinere Ansichten von Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt angeordnet. Von links oben beginnend sind im Uhrzeigersinn dargestellt: Wilhelmspalais, Rosenstein, Altes Schloss, Villa Berg, Königliche Kanzlei, Reiterkaserne, Katholische Kirche (Eberhardskirche), Münze, Marktplatz, Bahnhof, Kronprinzenpalais, die Pferdestatuen von Hofer, Neues Schloss, Museum der Bildenden Künste, Hoftheater, Schillerdenkmal, Stiftskirche, Basar.
