Nach einer Gesangsausbildung und einem Engagement in Wien gastierte Flora Schreiber-Kirchberger an zahlreichen Opernbühnen im deutschsprachigen Raum. Von 1848-1850 wirkte sie als Sopranistin am Königlichen Hoftheater in Stuttgart. Der Porträtstich zeigt sie in Halbfigur ins Dreiviertelprofil nach links gewendet. Realisiert wurde das Bildnis von Auguste Hüssener, die hierzu auf einen Entwurf ihres Schwagers Eduard Ratti zurückgriff.
