View of a courtyard. On the left, a boy stands next to several carts that are resting on the ground. Behind the carts is a multi-storey staircase in the form of a turret, with an arch and open windows. To the right of the staircase is a smaller, three-storey building with painted signs on either side of a central entrance. The signs read: "ATELIERS & BUREAU / de la Mson / L. MOULIN / Dans la 2 COUR / A. GAUCHE" and "LONGÉ / CHAUDRONNERIE". Above the entrance, reliefs of figures are visible on either side of a small balcony.
