Der Druck, der aus der Zeitschrift "Die Gartenlaube" von 1864 stammt, zeigt den Dichter Friedrich Schiller, wie er im Stuttgarter Bopserwald seinen Mitschülern Friedrich Wilhelm von Hoven, Viktor Heideloff, Johann Heinrich Dannecker, Joseph Kapf und Jakob Christian Schlotterbeck aus dem Drama "Die Räuber" (1782) vorliest. Die Skizze von Viktor Heideloff, die hierfür als Vorlage diente, befindet sich heute in der Staatsgalerie Stuttgart.
