Die Lithografie von Christian Sigmund Pfann zeigt das Porträt der Freifrau Mathilde von Röder, geb. Freiin von Seckendorf-Aberdar. Sie ist in Halbfigur im Dreiviertelprofil von rechts wiedergegeben, den Blick auf die Betrachtenden gerichtet. Die Freifrau sitzt in einem Sessel, in den Händen eine Strickarbeit haltend. Auf ihrem Schoß liegt eine Brille. Das ebenfalls von Pfann lithografierte Porträt Friedrich von Röders, den Mathilde 1822 geheiratet hatte, ist auch in den Beständen des Stadtarchivs Stuttgart überliefert (Inv.-Nr. 9050/05116).
