Der Gedenkstich für den Tübinger Professor Johann Ulrich Pregizer wurde von dem Stuttgarter Hofmaler Ferdinand Stenglin geschaffen. Im oberen Bildabschnitt ist ein halbfiguriges Porträt Pregizers gezeigt, das in einen ovalen, mit dem Namen und den Lebensdaten des Dargestellten beschrifteten Rahmen mit Wappen eingepasst ist. Es steht auf einer Sockelkonsole mit lateinischem Spruch, der beidseitig von zwei allegorischen Darstellungen in einem Medaillon flankiert wird. In Auftrag gegeben hat das Blatt der in Tübingen lebende Abt von Alpirsbach, Ernst Conrad Reinhard.
