Die Lithografie im Oval zeigt zwei gleich gekleidete Mädchen in kostbarer Garderobe. Sie tragen reich verzierte Hauben, die mit hellen Seidenbändern unter dem Kinn geschlossen sind. Das ältere Mädchen hat ihre linke Hand auf den rechten Arm des kleineren gelegt. Auf dem seltenen Blatt sind vermutlich Prinzessin Friederike von Hannover (1848-1926) und ihre Schwester Mary (1849-1904) dargestellt. Ein Gemälde Conrad L'Allemands könnte als Vorlage für die Grafik gedient haben. (md, KSt/2025)
