Étude pour la prise de Condé-sur-l'Escaut Sanguine (pour la ville) et pierre noire (pour les figures). H. 0,480 ; L. 0,970. Repris au poinçon. Mis au carreau à la sanguine et à la pierre noire. Usure. Pliure centrale verticale. Cette vue de Condé avec au premier plan « un homme dans un soufflet et des cavaliers qui suivent » (cf. inventaire Paillet (A.N., 01 1966 3 ) prépare très certainement le tableau de Berlin publié sous le nom de Van der Meulen (Coll. part. - Schulz, 1979-1980, p. 250, fig. 5; H. 0,56 x L. 0,90). La longueur du dessin sans compter les marges (L. 0,90) correspond parfaite…
