Tapisserie de haute lice tissée aux Gobelins entre le 12 décembre 1935 et le 12 mai 1937 d'après le carton GOB 804 Tissage signé Ducos de la Haille (bordure) / RF gbroche 1935-37 Au milieu d'une eau poissonneuse, de canards et d'une flore aquatique, une femme personnifie le fleuve Mékong. Trois jonques naviguent à l'arrière-plan. Drapée de bleu, l'allégorie porte la coiffure traditionnelle en or de dance Ram de Thaïlande et tient à la main un poisson-amulette en or, symbole d'abondance. Elle est assise sur un animal marin ailé, mi cheval mi dragon. Au premier plan, l'inscription "Le / MEKONG"…
