Portrait einer Dame mit Laute (Halbfigurenbildnis), sitzend, nach rechts, den Kopf nach links gewandt. Weit ausgeschnittenes Kleid mit freien Schultern, himmelblauer Überwurf, aufgelöstes rotblondes Haar, Laute in den Händen, duftig, pastellaratig gemalt, sfumato. Klassizistische Stimmung. Zweifach bezeichnet. Eine ältere Signatur unter der Hand eingekratzt, neuere am Rand links. Kann jedoch wohl kaum Dathan sein (1701-1761), da wohl um 1770/80 zu datieren. Emmerling hält an Dathan fest.
